C. MANLY, / PATENT / LONDON. embossed on three sides, top to bottom COLOR: colorless AGE: c.1800-1820 SIZE: 1.25 in. square x 4 in. tall Charleston, SC, dug. Colorless "flint" glass, solid pontil scarred base, thin flared and folded lip finish. Delicate little bottle with overall mineralization and swirling iridescence. NO DAMAGE, no chips, no cracks, no bruises, etc. As found and simply rinsed off. Nice early mold blown medicine. I recovered several of these a few years back and thought I had sold them all. Found two more packed away. Both the same, but some differences due to the handmade nature of manufacture. Bottle pictured may not be the one you recieve. THIS AUCTION IS FOR (1) ONE BOTTLE. You can buy the second by prior arrangement after auction ends. If winning bidder wants both, same price as ending bid but no additional shipping charges. Reasonable reserve. Ask any questions before you bid. Local pick-up OK. Shipping price for lower 48 only, anything else by prior arrangement only. Overseas shipping will be determined after auction...estimate $12 US.
