This beautiful little Chelsea has the same high quality movement as in the company's renowned ships clocks, but is designed as a "house strike," ie, the conventional hour and half-hour strike. The 4 inch dial has been newly resilvered and is marked,"Grogan and Company, Pittsburgh." The brass case with ball feet and a hinged bezel has just been polished and lacquered. The bezel has what appears to be the original heavy bevelled glass. This is an unusually attractive clock that runs and keeps time well.
