A MANUAL OF BEEKEEPING by John Hunter Published: W H Allen, 1884, 4th edition; hardback green cloth covers with gilt lettering and cover and spine designs; 220 pages + 32 pages booksellers adverts; approx 19 x 13 cm. - a most attractive copy of this early bee book; lovely section, amongst many others, on different hive designs with illustrations. - with 74 line drawings figures Very G ood Condition : contents and covers generally very clean and tidy; no inscriptions; age related browning at endpapers; just a few faintish brown spots at title pages; small tear top p61 - piece hinged to p62 - not affecting text; crack after contents page, but nothing serious; slight corner wear. A clean, sharp and bright copy.
