This set was bought by my parents when they moved from Washington, DC to Russellville, AL in 1955. They bought a lot of furniture from an old home here in Russellville and this dinette was part of it. It is maple, about 4.5 feet long (with two little leaves inserted) and 2.5 feet tall. If you remove the leaves, the table is 3.5 feet long. Mom had started to refinish the table and stopped. We ate off this table for years as a child. It has been in the family since. Local pick up only. Questions welcome. Good condition. I really don't care if it sells or not because I'll still use it, but since Mom died we can't keep everything. A lot of you are looking at this item. While it is a local pickup, let me give some perspective: we are located somewhat equi-distant from a lot of the large metro areas; we are 1 hour from Huntsville, AL; 2 hours from Birmingham, AL and Tuscaloosa, AL: 2.5 hours from Memphis, TN and Nashville, TN; about 5 hours from metro Atlanta; about 3 hours to Chattanooga, TN and so forth. Regionally speaking, it's not that bad of a drive.
