Made by the August C. Keebler Company of Chicago Illinois around 1933, this great all original "Bluebird" wall clock still has it's original cardboard box with cardboard insert.Marked on the box side "No. 370", the top of the Art Deco designed box has "Bluebirds Bring Happiness" printed around flying birds with a rainbow and fluffy stylized clouds. In great working condition, this novelty moving Cukoo Clock features about a 4 inch tall woodproduct case decorated with five logs trimming the face with Maple leaves at the corners. Red painted flowers are at the bottom, while t is a nest with three chicks at the upper right. With every swing of the penulum the baby bluebirds are "fed" by the moving tin lithographed bluebird. The metal clock case is stamped with the Keebler name and the patent pending numbers 1563431 and 1709146.T is slight rust oxidation on the pendulum shaft that needs to be cleaned, and t is a tiny spot of color loss on the tin bird below its wing, but otherwise this piece is in very good condition. The box is in great shape for 75 year old cardboard, with minimal damage to the corners and edges you would expect to see. The key to wind up the 30 hour movement is probably a vintage replacement, but was with this boxed piece when found at a recent estate sale in Atlanta.Perfect to add to your retro, vintage clock collection, read more
