Here we have a very nice example of one of my favorite Marantz receivers. This is from the original owner who bought it as a college student in the seventies. He meticulously took care of this unit , and I present this to you as one of the nicest Marantz units I have ever sold on Ebay.This is a Marantz 2252B, it pumps out 52 conservatively rated watts per channel, it cranks and sounds more like 75-80 watts. This receiver has been gone over thoroughly by myself, all the dial lamps have been changed to new ones, stereo lamp is also new. The faceplate is very clean and you will be hard pressed to find a 2252B in this condition. All the knobs are original as well as the feet. The outer casing is very nice with no dents or dings. This unit has been totally cleaned and lubed with Deoxit and Faderlube for perfect pinpoint controls. The unit sounds fantastic and has also had forward bias and power supply voltage set to factory standards. All inputs work nicely and sound wonderful, I even just had my Ipod hooked to the auxiliary jacks and it sounded fantastic. Also had a 6200 Marantz turntable playing The Beatles Abbey Road, sounded awesome.. Radio reception is very good and I live up in Northwest New Jersey in the sticks.
