This is a very clean, great sounding unit that has been in service for sometime without a problem. Unit is all original to my knowlege and works flawlessly. No scratchy pots or knobs, all lights and meters work as they should! Has the SQA port for the optional SQA decoder card. Adapts 2 channels into 4 channels. Has that warm sound unique to Marantz.If you are looking for a high end unit such as Marantz you will be very happy with this unit and it's priced to sell, I've got it priced with the lowest Buy It Now on Ebay! Average going rate for these units on Ebay is right around 150.00 but I'm looking for a quick sale, hence the very low price! All you have to do is take a glance at the other Marantz 2440's on Ebay and you'll see what I mean. $130.00 for one, $199.00 for another. They are all priced higher than this unit so grab it because someone is going to!! My Ebay feedback rating speaks for itself, check it out and read a few!
