You are bidding on (1) MARANTZ 4400 quad receiver. This 4400 sounds as good as it looks. The Power Supply Board was fully restored to provide years of trouble free service. Power Supply Board Work Performed:All 16 Electrolytic Capacitors were replaced with mostly 105 degree Celsius Low ESR caps by Nichicon and Panasonic. Quality 85 degree Celsius caps were installed w low ESR values were unobtainable.All ceramic capacitors were replaced with cleaner and lower tolerance Mylar and poly film type.The regulator adjustment potentiometer was replaced with a Bourns 25 turn type and dialed in to 35 volts.All four Zener diodes were replaced.The two main regulator transistors were replaced and applied with High Quality heat sink grease and new insulators.All failing resistors were replaced.The main fuse was replaced with brand new to prevent false alarm failure due to age.The board was completely cleaned and professionally re-soldered—every joint like new .All output transistors are MARANTZ original and untouched. The scope is working 100% has no phosphorus burn and is at full brightness with the brightness pot at 50%. This receiver is rated 50 watts x 4 or 125 watts x 2 and will blow you away.
