This lot, A MARBLE CONSIGNMENT , consists of a 29/32" (23 mm) hand gatd M.F. Christensen & Sons Co. "Brick" (1905-1917) in Near Mint (8.3) condition with a few pinprick flakes, as well as general wear and pinpricking (examined, as always, under 20-power magnification with strong lighting). It has white swirls forming a "nine and tail" within an "oxblood" matrix. This marble, marketed as the "American Cornelian" by the manufacturer, is a bit over 1/64" out of round.
