This lot, A MARBLE CONSIGNMENT , consists of a 31/32" (25 mm) Contemporary Art Glass Marble by Eddie Seese (signed "FES 05") in its original pristine Mint condition. It has a design comprised of outer multicolored bands spiraling around a silver dichroic-coated white solid core with pink and yellow bands on four slight lobes within a clear base. Eddie Seese was born in West Virginia in 1974, graduating from Ritchie County High School in 1992. He was first introduced to handmade marbles after watching marble maker Sammy Hogue. A week later, Eddie put together his own tools and after two days of making "eggs," he finally had his first marble. He instantly realized the endless possibilities of colors and techniques that could be expressed in a glass sp Eddie works out of his own studio at his house in Belmont, w he resides with his wife and daughter. All of his marbles are made sitting on a bench, with a punty and using hand blocks to shape the marbles. Every marble is highly polished, signed, and dated by the year.
