Hard to find original March 1967 issue of the Riverside International Raceway magazine titled Raceway with a cover photo of an NHRA top fuel dragster. Issues of Raceway magazine are actually more rare, and harder to find than the Riverside Can Am, Trans Am, USRRC, NASCAR, SCCA, and Formula Continental race programs, and has great articles and racing coverage throughout its 38 pages. Since there is not much advertising, these Raceway magazines actually have about as many features as the well know monthly car magazines This issue includes the following main features: · 5 page, detailed race coverage of the 1967 Daytona 500 NASCAR stock car race won by Mario Andretti in a Ford, ahead of 2 nd place Fred Lorenzen. The entrants for the 1967 Daytona race reads like a stock car racing Hall of Fame list: Ford drivers Darel Dieringer, Dick Hutcherson, A.J. Foyt, and Cale Yarborough; Dodge drivers James Hylton, Bobby Isaac, David Pearson, Buddy Baker, LeeRoy Yarbrough, and Innes Ireland; Plymouth drivers Richard Petty, Jerry Grant, Tiny Lund, Jim Hurtubise, Paul Goldsmith, Gordon Johncock, and Jim Paschal; Chevy drivers Curtis Turner, and Donnie Allison; and Mercury driver Bobby Allison.
