LOVELY MARGO van VOORHIES CARR DESIGN BRACELET & EARRINGS executed by JAIME QUIROZ This is a lovely Sterling Silver bracelet with white and aqua blue enamelling in a Margo De Taxco design. The design reminds me of a little bell flower, particularly when seen in the earrings. As a long time employee with the "Margo De Taxco" Taller, Jaime Quiroz, along with a few others, was allowed to continue production using some of her molds when the shop closed around 1978. His pieces are marked ALBA, TQ-06 and recognised in a number of publications, most of my knowledge comes from Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks by Bille Hougart. This bracelet measures 7 1/2" wearable length, is 9/16" wide and weighs 35gms. Earings are 1" in total with enamel hanging piece 9/16" with a weight of 5 gms. The assay mark on all three items is ALBA, 925, TQ-06. Set is in lovely condition, some pin prick size dots on the enamel which is original to the piece. The hinge work has thick silver and it is well soldered and secure. T is also a long safety chain on this piece. I hope this can all be seen in the photographs.
