This spectacular vintage Margot de Taxco (Margot Van Voorhies) Silver & Enamel bracelet is so special that it was featured in the book "Margot Van Voorhies and The Art of Mexican Enamelwork" on page 136, plate VIII-4. A fabulous example of Margot's extraordinary artistry and craftsmanship, is was created in her signature combination of Sterling Silver and Enamel, a difficult technique that took a real master to accomplish. Margot called this design "Greek Key" and it has a stunning Art Deco style with enamel done in gorgeous shades of Turquoise blue that contrast beautifully against the white enamel. The result is a bracelet with an elegant, timeless design. It measures 7" long by 1" wide and is hallmarked "Margot de Taxco, Hecho en Mexico, 925, Taxco, 5442" along with the eagle stamp. It is in good original vintage condition with no signs of damage or repair ~ only minor signs of wear and a bit of tarnish ~ and the enamel is chip/crack free and secure. It has a button topped push in clasp and there is an attached safety chain for added security. An outstanding and spectacular Margot de Taxco bracelet as beautiful today as the day it was made and a heirloom treasure for the collector.
