This Oil on Canvas painting is an Original Wendell Thompson Perkins (b.1928 - d.1997) an American painter. He spent the bulk of his career living and painting in Maine on the coast with his studio and gallary located in Portland. His studio suffered a tragic fire and most of his artwork was not saved. He is well listed and t are many auction records available on and other sites. The painting is signed on the canvas and is titled on the reverse stretcher "ROPES - Bath, Maine". It is framed. The ROPES was Built at Bath, Maine in 1884 and had a very colorful career. A. G.
