Well, after a nice long break I am back to selling this wonderful collection of trains. These belonged to a very dear friend of mine who has moved on to that big train yard in the sky. He was more than a little fussy about the trains that he collected and most of them appear, to the non-train-person's eye, to be immaculate. I would probably use the C-10 mint condition rating on many of them but being unfamiliar with trains I worry that I would be out of line. That said... You are bidding on Marklin HO 4097 TEE Dining Car . My friend left no notes on this one: The car is in beautiful condition showing no signs of ever being used. The box shows a bit of wear but is mostly good. It is not the original box. It is a 4095 box that has the 4097 label taped over it (see picture). No paperwork is incuded. Feel free to contact me with any questions although, as I said, I don't know trains like you probably do if you are looking at this auction item.
