In the coming weeks, we will be selling a LARGE collection of Marklin HO 3-Rail AC trains from a long time collector here in Columbus. He traveled back and forth to Germany during the 70's, 80's, and 90's and bought some of the best trains Marklin had to offer. He had an operating lay-out, but many of the pieces in his collection are brand new and have never been used or ever removed from their original packaging. The brand new, mint in the box items are what we will be selling first. Offered here is a 1998 Märklin Museum Car: 48098-basis freight car with brakeman's cab and die-cast old-timer truck, both in "J. Gaiser Colonialwaren Kaffeerösterei" livery . These cars were sold at the Marklin Museum in Germany and a limited number were made available for sale in the USA. This 2-piece set is brand new in it's original box.
