Up for auction is this Marklin stationary live steam boiler and engine. It is missing the chimney. The size of the base is 8.7" x 9.7" and it stands 6.2" tall at the whistle. I’ve never fired it up, but it does run well on compressed air. It is reversible. It has a relief valve in the filler cap, a water sight glass, an adjustable whistle, and an oiler cup at the cylinder. There is no “spirit lamp” to heat it up. Everything moves smoothly. The paint on the base is worn, the boiler support is somewhat rusty, and the flywheel has some pits and scratches. It is used and sold as is. Look over the photos and ask any questions you have.
