Up for auction is a soft cover book and LP Album booklet featuring the classic Ms. Foundation Project . . . "Free to be You and Me" . . . addressing gender stereotyping. The project was conceived by Marlo Thomas and utilized famous "personages" of the time to contribute their thoughts and works to this project. The book up for auction has a 1974 copyright and an ISBN 07-064224-9. The book measures 8.5 inches by 11 inches and contains 143 pages with lots of illustrations. The introductions were written by Marlo Thomas, Gloria Steinem and Letty Cottin Polgrebin with an afterword by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. The booklet came in the LP album that was issued around the same time. Interesting, the copyright for the booklet appears to be 1972. It is illustrated with small black and white drawings. I have been the only owner of both these items and they have been gently handled and read. The book has no creases, no tears, no wrinkles, no underlining, no owner's name. The LP Booklet was folded when stored which is why there is a crease in the middle.
