Brand New Factory Produced Marshall Style Amplifier Head Cabinet These cabinets were factory manufactured right here in the UK to suit Marshall style 18W and JTM45 DIY/project builds. The cabinets are made of birch plywood cut on CNC equipment for accuracy. Assembly and covering was all done by expert craftsmen. The Tolex and fittings used are the same as those used on top end hand built original amps. The overall result is a truly beautiful finished unit that should last and last. Internal dimensions are 17.5cm tall, 17cm deep (6.5 inches) and 48cm wide (can be increased to 51.5cm by simply removing a little of the back panel struts - can be done as a no cost option if requested with payment). We have built a number of 18W heads using these chassis (one shown in one of the pictures) and also a couple of JTM45 type heads but we have to say that such a build only accepts EL34 output valves and not 5881 or KT66s due to limited internal height in the cabinet. Holes are precision pre-drilled for the fixing bolts for both common 18W and JTM45 type chassis but these do not go through the Tolex so you can just open up the ones needed. Feet are supplied and these would normally be fitted using M6 bolts that would also secure the chassis.
