Exclamation! is part of a series of acetate posters created by Australian artist Martin Sharp. It is one of eight that were published by Big O Posters sold as a set in a pull-out catalogue inside OZ magazine. The serieswere a departure from his usual work of the late sixties with more of a bent on simple symbols with the intention being that these simple forms 'came to life' when having a light source placed behind them (such as a light-box). Smartiples acetates are among the most rare of Martin's works, Magg's of London lists a copy of 'All You Need' for £5000.Overall the poster is in very good condition. There are 5 small nicks on the left-hand (most likely the result of a small knock when rolled) side and 1 on the right-hand side. We have tried to show the as best as we can (have shown the 4 worst) and they are numbered in order top to bottom. Where they are very hard to see we have raised the levels on the photo to highlight it. The acetate will be rolled for shipping, loosely, and be shipped in a sturdy tube.Thanks for looking, all questions are welcome...
