Vintage MARUSHKA screen print of five seashells all in a row, in two colors, true brown and Dark cocoa brown. Measuring a large 14" x 37" image, (just the printed area). There are two tiny spots (right of the largest shell and right of the second shell) where a flaw in the canvas absorbed just a tiny bit more of the paint. The MARUSHKA screen printing company was founded in Grand Haven, MI in the early 1970's and grew to be known world wide quickly. The mass production of billions of paper posters took over the inexpensive home decor in the early 1990's, basically putting the Marushka company out of business. A second company The Michigan Rag Company is still in business producing screen print clothing with the MARUSHKA hand printing presses. I have about 30 more vintage Marushka's that I will be listing as time allows, please keep an eye on my listing for more of these wonderful vintage works of art. Thanks
