Marvel Comics Super Special #9 from 1978. Near Mint condition with supple white pages. Spectacular, virtually flawless example! Overstreet Price Guide NM- value: $20. Beautiful, bright and glossy. This magazine, along with almost all of the other magazines I have listed this week, came from an original owner collection that was bought new and carefully stored until recently. Most of them are “CGC worthy” but aren’t really expensive enough to get slabbed. They are all unread and were stored in comic bags from the second they were originally purchased, so the vast majority of them have exceptional cover gloss & color. I had a handful of them CGC graded a few months back, and they were all between 9.4-9.8, so they are definitely quite nice (same collection as the CGC 9.9 New Mutants #98 that I listed last week). A great chance to pick up some of these magazines in killer, unread shape without having to pay a premium simply because they were CGC graded.
