Original Marx Big Loo Giant Moon Robot Prototype. This very important piece of Marx history was acquired from the original designer of Big Loo Harry Evanoff who designed the robot in 1963. The original prototype is silver in color and basically identical to the production robot. The robot just sits in its feet not secured and 2 piece body is secured by some nuts and bolts and tape in sections. The actual production piece was more refined. Big Lou still has its Marx Sample Tag which states 7650, Big Loo, Erie, and Return to Harry E. Has some production numbers written on back. Also included are letters from Louis Marx talking about having return issues with the Big Loo and problems being kept from him, Time Sheet showing hours spent working on Big Loo, Letter asking for improvements to be made to Big Loo, Special Test Sample Letter about issues with Big Loo, and Letter talking about problems with Big Loo from Louis Marx. This is true piece of Robot Toy History! Everyone knows and Loves the iconic Big Loo! This is a chance to own the very first one ever produced that started it all.
