This Marx "O" gauge tin plate electric train set comes in a box that measures 23"L x 20"Wx 4"D. This Comodore Vanderbilt set contains the following. black metal Vanderbilt loco w/NYC tin tender; 2 #1678 NP coal hoppers; 2 #552 Rock Island gondolas; 2 #91453 yellow/black Colorado & Northern boxcars; 1 #553 Santa Fe tank car; a NYC crane/wrecker; a floodlight car, a 694 NYC caboose; a control panel with 2 switches, 10 curved & 10 straight track. T is no transformer with this set. All the cars are in very good condiiton. The switches look to be in very good condition. Wires are brittle and cracked. The set's box is torn. The box bottom is intact. But the box top is fine, but the sides to the box top are torn, and one corner to the box top is actually missing. T is no indication to the age of this set. T are 4 pages of instructions with this set (2 pages shown in photos).
