Vintage "DICK TRACY" - SIREN PISTOL by MARX Upfor auction is this "DICK TRACY" SIREN PISTOL . An excellent example of one of the most difficult to find in any condition, very rare early comic character pistols from the 1930's-40's. Manufactured by MARX, approximately 8-1/2 "long x 4-1/2 " high the toy is made of a pressed heavy gauge steel with a high gloss red paint finish. Approximately 2" round x 1" high black steel siren on the left side of the toy features the name "DICK TRACY" SIREN PISTOL in gold lettering. The gun works great and makes an authentic "winning siren" sound that increases in intensity when trigger is pulled more rapidly. e Finish loss over various areas of the toy, including paint chips, scratches and scuffs, on the gun body and siren. Otherwise a very nice toy in working condition. (see photos) You would be hard pressed to find another example in of this very nice vintage toy any condition.
