This auction is a consignment from one of our clients that we sell for. Item up for auction is a Marx O-scale steam locomotive with the road number 1829 under each cab window. Engine when originally manufactured was a 4-6-4 steam engine but as you can see from the attached pictures the lead truck and trailing truck ARE MISSING. I did test the engine, the engine does run but it is a bit sluggish. Engine shell is made of black plastic and this unit DOES HAVE a smoke unit. There is no original box so the item will be bubble wrapped and shipped in an alternate box to the winning bidder. Item is being offered for considerably less than market value on minimum bid to encourage bidding. Please remember that there is no tender that comes with this engine. Numerals under the cab window were highlighted in white paint or they were just black like the plastic. Drawbar is attached under the engine and it comes out the open slat under the floor board on the back part of the engine. For Once the auction is over we would appreciate your payment within 5 days of the auction ending.
