On offer is a fabulous large goblet or pedestal dish hand made, hand painted and signed by Mary Rose Young. It is painted in true Mary Rose Young fashion with the outer part and inner parts as richly decorated as each other so it looks fabulous from every angle! The ouside of the cup is hand painted in wonderfully bright swirly flowers highlighted in gold on a blue background. The inner part of the cup is handpainted in wonderful multicolored stripes alternated with gold stripes.. The stem and base are painted in cream decorated all over with gold spots...awesome! It is also edged in gold at the rim, the base and above the stem. The goblet is trimmed with one of Mary Rose Young's trademark roses in contrasting gold which brings the design of the goblet together beautifully. It measures about 6" inches or about 16cm tall. I recommend it should be filled on a regular basis with one's favourite red wine or used as a funky dish for those naughty nibbles to nash in the evening! Sizes of these goblets may vary very slightly as they are each individually hand made. The items in the last picture are available in seperate auctions.
