MARYLAND VIRGINIA Original 1895 map "Upper Potomac from McCoys Ferry to Conrad's Ferry and adjacent portions of Maryland and Virginia showing the operations of the army of the Shenandoah Commanded by Maj. Gen. P.H. Sheridan U.S.A. " October 1865. This 110 year old map features the positions and routes of the Union and Confederate Armies (color coded). Great detail of roads, towns, rivers, streams, mountains, and railroad lines. Major cities and position shown include Harpers Ferry , Charlestown , Martinsburg, Winchester , Strasburg, Newton , & many others. Map was published by the U.S. Government to Accompany the official records of Union and Confederate Armies 1861-1865. Folds as issued, very good condition. Overall size 18" x 15".
