Presenting a truly unique Masonic Ring. This ring is 14K, White Gold (hallmarked) and weighs 13.6 grams. It is about a size 10. This ring is hard to date but probably was made between 1920 - 1950. This is not a "cookie cutter" cast ring. The 32nd Degree symbol is hand engraved and shows in rugged relief. The external enamel is 100%. The ring has been worn but shows almost no sign of wear. I suspect it was some Mason's prized possession and was only worn to Masonic meetings or on special occasions. The goldsmith that fit the upper panel and symbol to the ring shank did so precisely that a the seam only shows with a loupe. The internal enameled symbols are in 100% perfect condition . The cavities for the enamel appear to be hand engraved as does the textured background around each symbol. After careful examination, the only imperfection I can find is in the panel's latch. It does gently snap and is not functionally impaired; but it should be adjusted by a jeweler to seat more firmly if the ring is to be worn frequently. The ring has not been polished or altered in any way. I cleaned it in a high grade ultrasonic cleaner only.This is an elegant, sophisticated ring.
