Massive 374-CD Rock & Metal Collection!! This is an enormous personal CD collection I have amassed over the years. There are 374 CDs in all - 365 of which were bought new from either a retail store, online shop, or from music clubs. The remaining 9 were purchased Used from local shops. NOTHING here is illegally downloaded, burned off a personal computer, etc, and ALL discs have their complete original packaging, many times with the original promotional inserts for t-shirts and merchandise still inside. A couple of them are even autographed by the artists - namely 1 CD by a local Brooklyn artist named "Gonna Get Got", and another by the legendary Canadian Techno-Thrash band, Voivod. This collection would be ideal for someone who has an interest stemming from early hard / experimental rock such as The Beatles and The Doors, but is heavy on the harder side of things, with discs ranging from the classics such as Metallica and Megadeth, all the way to rarely-heard but excellent releases from bands like Sabbat, Last Crack, Samael, and Covenant. There are a very small number of ambient and hip-hop discs, some cross-genre stuff like Mindless Self Indulgence (incredible electro-punk band from NYC), and even 1 classical disc as well (performed by the normally heavy Glenn Danzig). If you're shopping for someone who has heard a lot of the newer stuff, but is looking to fill their back-catalog with some of these amazing fore-runners, this would be an ideal purchase for them! I have kept these CDs in the best condition possible - they've meant a lot to me and I've taken good care of them. With that said, some of the jewel cases have unfortunately cracked a bit over time, but none are unusable. This collection contains discs from bands all over the world - this collection represents bands from Finland, England, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Australia, Brazil, Greece, The Netherlands, Canada, Portugal, Wales, and of course, all over the USA. I was never satisfied with the poor stock of my local record stores in the mall. I would go to specialty shops very often, read foreign magazines and order discs that couldn't be found in most places. Most CDs were thoroughly researched before purchasing, so there is very little here that I wouldn't recommend to good friends. PLEASE NOTE: If you are planning to purchase this for younger people, or those who are easily offended by anti-religious, violent, or sexual imagery or language, PLEASE RECONSIDER! This is a metal CD collection, after all, and much of the content is not shy whatsoever about such topics. I cannot offer any refunds due to a misunderstanding regarding this. Regarding shipping - I would REALLY love if the buyer could make a local pick-up here in Manhattan, as the lot is contained in 4 boxes weighing up to 30 lbs each - so shipping could be quite expensive. However, I will work closely with the buyer to set a fair price to ship anywhere in the continental US if this is unrealistic.
