Item - Huge B.W. & Co Oriental Platter Description - This massive platter was produced by Bates, Walker and Co. (B.W. & Co incised mark), Burslem, England around 1890. It has an oriental motif, but I'm not positive of the exact pattern name. The platter is 20 1/2" long and 16 1/4" wide. It is quite heavy. The decoration appears to be a combination of a transfer pattern with hand-painted coloring. T are quite a few surface scratches on it, possibly utensil wear, but t are NO cracks, chips or repairs. This platter will hold a ton of steak, or it would look awesome hanging on a wall somew Wonderful piece of antique English pottery!
