For auction today one of the largest soldier collections youwill probably ever see on e-bay. In total it is probably in excess of 23000pieces and would cost more than £3000 to buy new!!! The figures are from a range of manufacturers including Hat, Revell, Italieri, Waterloo 1815, Esci, Airfix. Timpo, A Call to Arms, Imex, House of Campaign, Armies in Plastic Victrix, Perrys, Zvezda, Britains and a few Unknown. The collection is predominantly 1/72 scale Napoleonic War though does include hundreds of 1/32 & 1/28 scale soldiers also Napoleonic era. There is also a large American Civil War and WW2 collection as well as a number of tanks, trucks and Diorama items, as well as various figures from many different historical periods that add up to this epic collection. It has been 40 years in the making and is being sold reluctantly for genuine reasons. I have to stress here that the boxes shown in the photographs ( whilst being the original boxes), are for illustrative purposes only and do not encompass the whole collection, though they are included in the sale. The figures have all been removed from their boxes and sprues and placed in to separate bags in order of marching, firing, advancing etc .
