This unique piece uses a fish motif on three panels. The shape is also different from what is commonly found. It is a white piece with red and black decoration. This is a great piece for the collector it has no mistakes and the colors are outstanding. This piece in a gallery would cost between $250 and $400. This is a very good price for a piece of this quality from an established artist.Maria Saenz was born in Juan Mata Ortiz in March 8, 1969 shelearned pottery from her husband Andres Loya Jaquez. She won a Honorable Mention for her matrimonial ollas in the last Juan Mata Ortiz Concurso. She is been doing pottery for the last ten years. This piece is about 8 3/8" high, 6 1/2" wide and weighs about 1 3/4 of a pound.
