Mata Ortiz Pottery by Jesus Olivas Quintana - Blue Bird Sgraffito Olla Measures 6" H X 4 1/2" Diameter Signed by Jesus Olivas Quintana This etched pot, called calcado by people in the village, is deeply carved. Wonderful example of two pair of Mimbres style blue birds. Done on white clay this pot is painted in typical Jesus colors of red, black, blue, green and brown.
