I grew up surrounded by Matchboxcars because of my father’s life-long collection. Today I have the honor of getting his treasures back into the hands of fellow collectors… With white gloves on, I present you with the following: · Matchbox 41-C: Ford GT from 1965 According to Charlie Mack…Version 1: White Body / Red Hubs / “6” Decal Made in England by Lesney Excellent Model: This model shows a little wear. The corner of the “6” decal is missing, and the decal is discolored with age. There is a dot/pinpoint chip on the hood to the right of the decal. The front shows a slight ¼” scrape on the front right headlight. The model’s front edge has 4 chips. I count 8 pinpoint chips around the right window’s edge. In addition, there is 1 pinpoint chip on the edge of the spoiler in back. (See photos) Box Condition: Near Mint. There is very little wear to the corners and edges. All four tabs and both end flaps are intact. (See Photos) This model will be wrapped in tissue paper and placed inside its’ box. It will be shipped in a cardboard box with packing peanuts.
