Item Description and Bidding/ Shipping Cost and Policy/ Payment Instructions: One (1) Matchbox Lesney Vauxhall Victor Sedan 38 b6; yellow body; gloss black painted base; 8 x 18 grey plastic wheels variation. B type wider rear post brace, C type bonnet interior no radiator ridge, with 3 ejector rings, pips, fillets, and dash brace, B type spray trim front and rear applied after base assembly. Stannard code 5 of 23. This fine model is in very near mint condition. It was introduced in 1958 and was sold in this type and 6 other variations, based upon body and wheel type and presence or absence of a window insert (Mack). There exist 23 distinct Stannard code types. This is a Stannard code 5 with yellow body, no window insert, and 8 x 18 grey plastic wheels and characteristics as above. It is approximately 61 mm in overall length. Please carefully examine the high definition photos for the beautiful, flawless virgin original paintwork detail. The gloss black paintwork on the metal base is immaculate and the wheels show no evidence of use. The tow hook is fully intact. There are no casting or mechanical defects. This Vauxhall Victor Sedan will display as brand new. Additional photographs can be sent to your e-mail address and questions will be entertained up to 4 hours prior to auction end. I make the complimentary box which will be sent with the model. They are constructed of correct weight tag board . They are laser printed so they will be somewhat glossier than an original Lesney era box, which was printed with lithography.
