North Coast BazaarFor auction is one set of two (2) matched 1936 California automobile license plates. They measure approximately 6 1/4 x 14 inches. Both license plates come to you unconditioned and not cleaned. #6W145. Both display some surface rust (one more than the other.) Black lettering has some minor scratches. Orange background is what needs cleaning. No bends. Slight dent on edge between the f an o of one. The major issue with this matching pair is the discoloration and oxidation spots of the background. They are excellent specimens for restoration. I don't know how well they will clean. Personally I would leave them in original condition. I like the vintage look. Please view all super sized images.
