For auction is a GORGEOUS matched pair of NOS Ei 12ax7/ECC83 SILVER PLATES tube with copper grid posts. About this tube - this is a pre-war production made in Yugoslavia (date code: First Line: 2A1; Second Line: Semi-Circle with a dot XX). It has the same internal structure as Telefunken 12ax7 smooth plates and was manufactured on the same equipment as Telefunken tubes. They sound incredible - great sound stage and high frequency extension as Telefunken, but more body!!! They flash very spectacularly when energized - very much like Amperex & Mullard. SILVER PLATES have more sparkle in high frequencies and wider sound stage compared to gray plates and did I say they look awesome!!!
