This lot consists of eight plate blocks from 1939, presented as matched sets of #857 (Printing Tercentenary) and #858 (50th anniversary of statehood for North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Washington). The first scan is a composite showing the entire lot; the other four scans are closeups of pairs of the same blocks.The matched #857 blocks have plate number 22438. The matched #858s are plate number 22457.All of the blocks are full gum mint never hinged.For shipping, the plate blocks will travel with cardboard backing in individual glassines, in a manila envelope (2 oz) at first class speed at cost.If these items are well received, in weeks to come I plan to list matched sets of #854, #853, #852, #838, #837, #836 (B6s), and #835.The other items I currently have listed consist of a rather eclectic mix of stuff, because I'm actively trying to clean out 50 years' worth of accumulated material.
