Up for auction today are a pair of very rare Vintage RCA Black Plate "D Getter" “Red Tip” (medical/scientific grade) MATCHED 12AX7’s with matching date codes (58-17)! Each tube tests a VERY STRONG 90/2 over 90/2 on my Sencore TC-162 Tube Tester. These were pulled from a one owner, low hour "Barn Stored" Wurlitzer organ and as such, there is a layer of barn dust over the screen printed labeling of these tubes which I chose to leave "undisturbed" for fear of removing the labeling.
