Matching pair of Oak Edwardian Nursing Chairs Recently brought off eBay. Unfortunately, because they have horsehair padding, (a natural animal product) I won't be able to take these chairs back to New Zealand with me. I'm not an antiques expert and didn't think to ask, I simply like the look of old furniture. Live and learn! A pair of nursing chairs with high backs believed to be Edwardian. Quality is excellent as shown in photos. Supplied originally by: T.R. Roberts Ltd Complete House Furnishers Islington London Established 1895 We believe the wood to be oak but are not certain. Original horsehair padding in seats. The upholstery is in excellent condition with no stains, tears or marks. The chairs are in remarkable condition given their age, however, they are antiques and have been used. BUYER TO COLLECT. Collection from Harrow HA1 by arrangement. Third party collection or 'man and a van' service welcome. Payment must be made in advance of collection by paypal only.
