This is a beautiful working talking (mostly) Shrinking Violet doll by Mattel. She has a tag dated 1963. This is the cleanest one of these dolls I have ever seen. Really looks unplayed with. Entire body is very clean and hair is bright yellow. When you pull her string she talks and her eyelids and mouth moves. She was talking great but now when I pull the string she slips some so she may be going out. You can still understand her but this may not be the case soon. These dolls can be repaired. There is one mark on her face above her eyebrow and the mouth could use some glue at the corners. These mouths always seem to pull up since it moves when she talks. She is somewhat floppy but still has a fair amount of stuffing. She says things like "I'm afraid of noisy boys".
