For sale: 1976 SPACE: 1999 "EAGLE 1" ship from MATTEL. Ship had been lovingly hanging on display for a while, a real eye magnet, it measures about 32 inches (81 cm) long. It is still a little dusty. I have used a thin brush and an "air in a can", but I did not want to use water (maybe you have a "go to" recipe for this). The ship has some discoloration in parts, notably on the seams. The front pod and back rockets both detach at a flick of a switch, and connect together for a smaller pod (see pic). The ship has its landing gears, which was essential for this ship to look cool hanging from the ceiling! The ship has both side doors (see pics). Bottom hatch door is present and connected. The orange figure is not from the set, he's an orange jump-suited TONKA guy, but he has been sitting in the cockpit because the helmet fit him and he fit the cockpit (looking good, too). Please look closely at the pictures and feel free to send any questions or comments. What you see is what you get, so if you don't see it PLEASE ask me. I am probably missing something, but from what I can gather: -missing cockpit cover, -missing silver chairs (4?), -a couple of the silver plastic "cross bars" (over the four black "iron crosses" stickers on the outside) are missing an arm, -missing a silver "shelf" and "mech arm", -some of the stickers are missing read more
