This 26.5" x 17.25" portfolio of lithographs by Maurice Sendak entitled "Pictures by Maurice Sendak" published by Harper and Row, New York in 1971 had a limit of 500 this being number 314. The prints include illustrations from "Where the Wild Things Are," "In the Night Kitchen," "Higglety Pigglety Pop" and several other books. A signed reproduction of a previously unpublished drawing of Jennie, the Sealyham terrier is included. A pamphlet is included written by Sendak which. The lithographs are in 9 loose paper folders, as issued, and come in a beautiful cloth folding case with a paper title label attached.All drawings are in excellent condition with no tears, creases or discoloration. The bottom right corner of the portfolio has slight wear to the corner.Posted with eBay Mobile
