RARE Mavic MEKTRONIC left hand shifter SSC ZAP Mektronic Shifter Item Details: Offered for auction is a Mavic Mektronic shift/brake lever. This was part of the second version electronic shifting gruppo Mavic offered in the late 90's. This lever was ultimately banned from professional use by the UCI due to a perceived aerodynamic positioning advantage. Pretty funny considering it's shape is pretty similar to current Shimano and Sram shifters. Visibly the condition is quite nice. Unfortunately I have no way of testing it, so it's being sold As-Is. Condition : Very good aesthetic condition. Some minor wear to hood, but very good overall. See above regarding usability.
