Ten reels USED vintage Maxell XLI 35-90B 7" reel to reel 1/4 inch magnetic recording tape. Used once to record live broadcasts, largely of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and kept in a collection after that. Some reels recorded with Dolby NR and some with dbx NR, all recorded at 7 ½ IPS . Originally recorded with Tandberg 6000x, 9000x and TD20A half track recorders, however it can be used as blank tape with any half or quarter track machine. Will work with excellent results on all fine recorders. Tape is on a Maxell plastic reel. Tape is sold as blank tape that happens to have music on it. I have a magnetic bulk eraser and will erase for you if you wish before shipping, but I recommend that you leave the music on and enjoy it at least once ! Photo is actual. Tape is in original boxes, which have been tastefully blackened on face and 4 sides and the box face has been covered with a light tan textured material. This yields a handsome finished appearance to the original box. A label has been applied to one edge of the box identifying the music performance. Some boxes may be turned in pic only to show labels. Performances are NOT necessarily the same as shown in the pics, as I only have one copy of each. The one box which shows the full original front label is NOT INCLUDED in this lot as I need it for future pics. It's for ID only. All ten boxes you are bidding on are blackened, with textured material on front as described. Please note that the back of every box clearly shows all the original Maxell printed label, so you can be assured this is indeed genuine Maxell tape and boxes.
