NO RESERVE AUCTION A vintage Mayo's Cut Plug lunch box tobacco tin that measures 8" in length, 3 1/2" in width, and 4 3/4" in heigth. It retains almost all of the gold paint finish and the box is complete with the wire handle and closing clasp. Lid still closes and clasps and presents very well Antique Advertising tin, Mayo's Cut Plug Tobacco lunch box, circa early 20th century (1900), lithograph on metal, 8" by 3 3/4" by 4 3/4", Made at Factory #1 District of Virginia, original wire bale handle, hinged lid with snap down latch, rolled edges on the tin, rounded corners. Greek key design border on all sides. excellent coloring and graphics. No Rust, No Dings, No Dents, a few minor scratches. A tin in this condition is hard to find, they are few and far between. Mayo's cut plug was the first company to include baseball cards with t product line and those cards retain some of the highest value. The Mayo Cut Plug (N300) baseball card set was released in 1895. great collectible for tobacciana and baseball card collectors. Please view my other items---NO RESERVE
