Occasionally the bases of these are dug but rarely the lids. this is a super rare little lid advertising 'Mazet & co's ANTIPELLICULAIRE London 3/-'. Gold edge naded, it bares chipping to the rear flange and some grubby marking to the face and rear as seen with a couple small chips to the flange outer and larger chipping as seen to flange itself. However, a very rare offering and well worthy of a bid. 2 1/2" across.
