For sale is a Civil 1st Type MBE medal in its original case. The medal itself is in excellent condition, as can be seen in the photos provided. The box itself is a bit worn on the outside, but is still in good working order. The medal is attributed to Ernest Boyanton, awarded "in view of the services rendered on work connected with the war". The medal is attributed due to an accompanying letter from the Home Office advising Boyanton of the award in January 1920.
