This piece of Merigold, Mississippi’s famed McCarty pottery shows the brilliance of Lee and Pup McCarty’s artistic endeavor. Finished in the new-style McCarty jade glaze, this three-footed bowl celebrates the surface and shape that makes McCarty pottery a treasured keepsake. It is signed on the bottom with McCarty signature and was created during the period when Lee McCarty was still working, circa 2012 or 2013. It was purchased new from McCarty pottery around that time and still retains the masking tape original price tag. This piece measures approximately 6 inches in diameter and shows off the jade glaze beautifully. It is in excellent condition, carefully stored and displayed since being purchased years ago.
